Editorial standards
These are the rules every article on Forty Onward must pass before publication.
Sourcing
- Every statistic, percentage, or research claim links to a primary source: peer-reviewed research, government data, or the original institution.
- We do not write "studies show" without linking the study.
- No claim on this site is allowed to say more than the source it links to actually says.
- Sources are listed at the end of every article.
AI use, disclosed
We use AI tools in research and drafting. Every article is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by a human before publication. AI never invents sources, quotes, or people on this site.
Corrections
If we got something wrong, write to us via the contact page. Verified errors are corrected in the article with a note.
What we never publish
- Medical, psychiatric or legal advice. We are a publication, not a clinic. See the disclaimer.
- Invented authors, fake credentials, or AI-generated headshots.
- Invented personal experience. When we have not lived something, we do not claim we have.
- Content written for search engines instead of the man reading it.
